It Seemed to Them:
Early QST Editorials

Welcome to an experimental web document, looking at some of the early history of Amateur Radio in the United States, and especially the American Radio Relay League -- ARRL -- and its main journal, QST.

This is an annotated anthology of selected QST articles and columns. Readers will see some of the early concerns of QST/ARRL staff and the larger Amateur Radio hobby. Surprisingly many of the topics that we deal with today have their origins in the earliest times.

This is a project in early development. Currently, only the years from the birth of ARRL and QST (1915) until the shutdown for WW I (1917) are included. Issues published before Jan. 1, 1923 are in the public domain.

Your comments and suggestions are welcome.
